Our policies have been drafted to provide all affected parties with the best protection against civil liability. Our training program far exceeds the minimal state requirements. In addition to the minimal state training requirements, our officers receive 32 hours of classroom training, and 8 hours of training on the firing range.

PS Security Services Officers are former law enforcement officers who have had successful careers with several local law enforcement agencies, or they are individuals who have successfully completed a State of Minnesota certified law enforcement program. This means that the security officers we place at your site have either spent many years patrolling the streets and highways in Minnesota or they have passed every requirement to be hired by a Minnesota Law Enforcement Agency. Ninety-five percent of all PS Security Services officers are former law enforcement, the other 5% are future law enforcement officers. These men and women are well trained, with a vast array of experience and wisdom, and are well prepared to keep your organization and people safe.

PS Security guards adhere to strict uniform and grooming standards:

✓ Uniforms must be clean and pressed

✓ Boots must be all black and polished to a shine

✓ Facial hair can include a mustache that does not extend beyond the lower lip, sideburns may not extend beyond the ear lobe

✓ Un-natural hair color is prohibited

✓ No visible tattoos

✓ Women may have one stud in each ear – Men are not allowed to have visible body piercing
